For this two-day event, St. Amant Jewelers is welcoming Certified Master Appraiser Sherry Kohlert. She is also a GIA Graduate Gemologist and a certified member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers and the Appraisers Association of America.
These credentials show advanced training in examining and valuing jewelry. During an appraisal, the appraiser studies the piece carefully and records key details about its materials, design, and condition. This type of professional review is useful for insurance needs, estate planning, antique jewelry, and personal records.
What Jewelry Can You Bring to the Event?
The event is a good time to have many types of jewelry reviewed. You may bring diamond rings, gemstone jewelry, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, antique pieces, or family heirlooms. To give the appraiser enough time to carefully examine and evaluate your jewelry, please bring no more than three pieces to your appointment.
Your $175 deposit secures your appointment and covers the appraisal of your first piece. You may have up to two additional pieces appraised during the same appointment. The second piece costs $65, and the third piece costs $65. Payment for the second and third pieces can be made at the time of your appointment.
If you have previous appraisals, certifications, diamond grading reports, receipts, or other documents related to your jewelry, please bring them with you. These records can provide helpful information about each piece.
